    • Sit-ups are cute, but have you tried challenging your deep core stabilizers? 🤔
That’s where the real magic happens. ✨
Core stabilizers are important muscles located in the abdomen, lower back, hips, and pelvis that help stabilize and support the spine, pelvis, and hips during movement. The core stabilizers include the transverse abdominis, multifidus, pelvic floor muscles, and diaphragm. Here are some of the reasons why core stabilizers are important:
• Injury prevention
• Improved posture
• Increased performance
• Improved breathing
Incorporating exercises that target the core muscles into your workout routine can help improve your overall health and fitness.
    • ✨Helping our Kids Cultivate a Healthy Relationship with Food✨
I had a lot of fun writing this post, because it took me back to my childhood. Food often does that to us.
As a parent, you have a big role in the eating habits your child develops. Habits that will stay with them forever.
Check out todays post on www.moveandbloomwellness.com to read about how you can help foster those habits.
What are some healthy food habits you still practice today from childhood? What have you changed? Comment below!
    • 🔥Glute Building Exercises🔥
Here are some of my favorite exercises that target the glutes from all angles.
If you don’t have access to kettlebells, you can substitute with dumbbells or even bodyweight.
1. Alternating Lateral Lunges
2. Single Leg Kickstand Deadlift
3. Step Ups
4. Reverse Lunges
Add some of these into your leg day routine, or complete all for a full workout.
Have Fun!🔥
    • I promise, you’ll be adding this into a regular rotation. Check out the full recipe on the blog for this Healthy Banana Almond Date Smoothie you’ll fall in love with. 🍌

Starting my week with movement always sets the tone for the rest of my week. And it always feels good to know I could check off at least one of my workouts for the week.
🔥Don’t wait for motivation, create it. Let’s start this week strong!
